Fribourg filmfest hosts ‘Tattoo Your Dreams’

Iranian documentary ‘Tattoo Your Dreams’ has been vying at the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) in Switzerland.

The film directed by Granaz Mousavi, is being screened at the 2022 edition of the event starting from March 18.

Premiered at the 39th edition of the festival, 'Tattooed Dreams' was also honored by the commendation of the jury panel.

“The highlight of the year for gifted young footballers is the arrival of talent scouts from Spain's prestigious La Liga. Families do everything they can to help their offspring make the final cut. This fast-paced documentary records the hopes and dreams of not only these aspiring football stars and their parents but also of the wider community,” the synopsis of the film reads.

The FIFF aims to use films as a medium for enhancing the inter-cultures’ understanding. The event picks films that promote reflection and discussion.

This year’s edition of the fest is underway from March 18-27.
